Embracing Empowerment: Celebrating International Women's Day as a Submissive in BDSM

International Women's Day is an opportunity to honour and recognise the accomplishments, struggles, and resilience of women worldwide. However, for those who embrace roles such as submission in the context of BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Sadism, and Masochism), this day can hold complex layers of meaning. As a submissive woman, and a strong believer in empowering women as I aim to do with my BDSM jewellery brand Love Enchained, I wanted to explore how women in BDSM relationships can celebrate and empower themselves on International Women's Day, redefining traditional narratives of empowerment.
